When I first got started eating a plant-based diet, one of my biggest concerns was what to eat on a day in and day out basis. (This is also the same concern I hear from others when they learn that I’m plant-based.) Initially, learned about all of the benefits of this style of dieting. I knew all of the essentials, vegetables, fruits, grains, etc.
But the challenge was how do I actually make meals every day, that I could stick to long term?
Thankfully, over the course of a few months I was able to develop a structured meal plan to follow. This meal plan has allowed me to spend less time stressing over the what to eat… And more time to experiment with creating fun, enjoyable meals.

Trust me, I can definitely understand the “I can figure it out by myself” mentality. It’s something I still deal with today.
But I never underestimate the power of having a solid plan. This meal plan eliminates all of the guesswork so that you’re not left feeling overwhelmed, which leads to running out of willpower runs out, which leads to you quitting.
Through study, practice and implementing, I came up with this meal plan, based on the 5 key important foods to include in your diet on a daily basis. One of the biggest “concerns” that I hear about a plant-based diet is getting enough protein for muscle maximization. A “concern” that I’ve yet to have a problem with I should add.
In this meal plan, I’ve included easy ways to make sure you hit your protein targets with every meal and snack. From protein shakes in the morning, to simply doubling the beans or plant-based meat in a dinner.
